How to get to the Oslo Queer Festival?
The festival is in Oslo at Indigo.
Link to the Oslo Gardermoen airport site.
The most economic and easy way to get down town is to take NSB train. Link: http://www.nsb.no/?lang=en_US
It cost about half the price at the airport train and about 10 minutes longer. Link to the airport train: http://www.flytoget.no/eng/
Exit through the main exit and find the tram stop called “Jernbanetorget” You’ll have to cross the tram-tracks in order to get on the trams going the right direction. You may take any tram you like except nr 18 and 19. The second stop is called “Hausmannsgate” and this is where you get off. Cross the tram tracks to the other side of the Storgata-street and you’ll find yourself in the street called Hausmannsgate. Follow it, cross the street called “Torggata”, and you’l finally get to a house that looks squatted and is called Hausmania . Walk along the street until you round this building and you’ll find “Brenneriveien”. Walk down the hill and you are there. This walk takes somewhere between five and ten minutes.
If you get to Oslo by bus, you will end up at the main bus station called Galleriet. You’ll find directions for the train station which is next to the bus station. Follow then the directions above.
See map for visual directions. Don’t hesitate to call if you get lost. Othervice Norwegians are usually quite helpful if you ask them for directions. Most Norwegians know English.
If you are going by car you should call us for directions. It is difficult finding parking, and there is hardly any parking at Indigo where the festival is.
